sis by spijkers en spijkers has been going sky high since they launched their sub label last year. sis had the honour to open amsterdam fashion week. their spring summer 2012 collection is affordable and just plain cool. the collection is, as always, based on the 20’s and female heroes, this time also about places like monte carlo and palm springs. it’s sexy, feminine, tough and naughty. we used 10 different versions of blondie’s heart of glass, starting with japanese cocktail music, ending with a cut-up metal version, while the finale was the original (which is still the very best version ever made). we love to be part of the spijkers sisters team, they rock.
