thursday january 13 we delivered the music for the annual elle style awards in amsterdam, at the city’s most beautiful theatre stadsschouwburg. the event was a huge success. three junior stylists battled over the prestigious style award by sending their teams of models on an endless catwalk throughout the building. the models, styled according to a rock & royalty theme, paraded in line, together with a marching band playing rock anthems and dancing majorettes. each group of models had their own portable sound system. because the catwalk was many hundreds of meters long and the corridors were not that wide, everyone in the audience was effectively seated front row. a great idea by wink, who do concepts, events and set designs for various brands. you can find more information on the dutch elle site and the team peter stigter website.
