we provided the music for the bas kosters spring summer 2013 show called love fuck yeah! which was all about love. in contradiction to all his other shows this one was a matinee, a show in the afternoon. bas kosters assimilated big time with a short movie about his lost love-life and a live interview on stage with famous dutch presenter margreet dolman. they spoke about love, friends, family and him falling in love again. the strong message was all over the very positive and crazy collection, it was definitely one of the highlights of this year so far.

we decided to use as many positive songs about love as possible, which was an insane job because the choice was of course infinite. we had to cut down the show from about 150 tracks to finally 55 in 13 minutes. at rehearsals we had to decide to cut more or just speed the whole mix up, which we did. with the addition of the sounds of vibrators, washing machines, church bells and orgasms it created an extra mayhem to the experience.

this show was about as crazy and positive as we can get, mixing movie sound scores with dutch classics, ballads, rock, disco, crooners, hippie stuff, dirty porno songs and much more, sung in dutch, english, french, german and italian.
the finale was roger glover’s love is all, all models jumped into the audience and started hugging the crowd.. at the end of the finale a wedding cake appeared and bas kosters married love itself on stage. we will never forget this show: big up to bas kosters, we love you.
