on monday june 4 we delivered music for two haute couture presentations in paris. one was for to long nam, more information about this vietnamese designer, his collection and the music we did will follow after his show coming saturday in roma. for dutch haute couture designer jan taminiau we made a breathtaking soundscore. the collection is called nature extends, and so it did: models growing out of woodlike shoes, pinnochio meets tim burton on sky scraper boots made of cork. we made a dramatic mix, with music by ryuichi sakamoto, alvo part and sufjan stevens, and added the sound of a woodpecker, just three times by the way. the show got rave reviews.
