on saturday february 12 we delivered the music for the g-star fall winter 2011/2012 show, which was shown at the main tent at lincoln centre. the collection was, amongst other minor themes, inspired by london dandies from the beginning of the 20st century and polar expeditions. the show got rave reviews and we were delighted to be on board again at g-star who are setting new standards for denim worldwide. we used mainly guitar driven tracks, but made special instrumental edits or used unknown covers by the likes of blur, tame impala, johnny cash, n.e.r.d., and added the voice of oscar wilde reading one of his famous poems. we got an anonimous famous drummer to prerecord a full lenght drum track over our initial mix, to give the soundtrack more power, energy and roughness. the final mix morphed all together and had spectacular surround sound effects.
