the sound score we did for the sis by spijkers en spijkers fall winter 2011 – 2012 show at amsterdam fashion week is now online. go to portfolio, you will find the mix streaming only (we dont do downloads!). it features screaming guitars, led zeppelin’s ‘whole lotta love’ and mutsumi’s ‘look down at your feet below’. the show was all about fast ladies from the 20’s and 30’s, amelia earhart being the most important of all. she crossed the atlantic and pacific ocean on her own, being the first woman to do this. we added many sound effects of different kind of aeroplanes and racing cars, and made sure the stereo effect at the show it self made an extra impact: you literally heard the cars at full speed driving through the venue… the sis by spijkers en spijkers show was a great success, the collection was beautiful and very well made. lots of reviews talk about the sound effects we used, it was a picture perfect match. we love working for spijkers en spijkers! a new music presentation for london fahion week is in the making, so stay tuned.
